I am a proud Ph.D. candidate at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Balkan Studies from the University of Sofia I decided to dive into the academic world of Balkan literature. My mother tongue is Bulgarian and I speak Albanian, Greek, Turkish, Hebrew (ככה ככה), and, of course, English.
My passions are learning foreign languages (not less than five at the same time), playing chess, collecting books, writing poetry (trying to), translating different literary texts and deciphering Ottoman Turkish manuscripts.
My favourite authors are Etgar Keret, Fatos Kongoli, Atanas Dalchev and George Bacovia.
